Dr. Uyanga Bayandalai is a licensed professional counselor with over a decade of experience specializing in correctional and rehabilitative mental health. Since 2017, she has served as a clinical program therapist with the Minnesota Department of Corrections' Sex Offender Treatment Program, where she supports incarcerated individuals in developing release plans and reintegrating into society. In addition, Dr. Bayandalai works at Fuller Living & Associates LLC in Anoka, Minnesota, where she supervises and mentors graduate-level interns and pre-licensure providers, preparing them for careers in counseling by teaching essential techniques, ethics, and business practices. Dr. Bayandalai is an Internal Family systems-informed Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapist who incorporates various trauma-informed approaches into her clinical practice. Dr. Bayandalai's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Psychology from Capella University, a Master of Science in Rehabilitation and Addiction Counseling, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Dickinson State University. Her dedication to her field is evidenced by her involvement in professional organizations, including the Association for the Treatment and Prevention of Sexual Abuse and the Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing International Association. She is also a longstanding National Omicron Psi Honors Society and Chi Sigma member. Inspired by personal and professional experiences, Dr. Bayandalai is passionate about contributing to the field of corrections and mental health. Dr. Bayandalai attributes her success to her resilience, which is the cornerstone of her career and personal journey.
