Born in the Soviet Union (the Republic of Belarus), Vadim Albukh immigrated to the United States with his parents at three years of age. He earned an Associate's degree in Social Studies, plays chess well, and attends Kung Fu Wing Chun classes. Writing is Vadim Albukh's great passion. His first published story, “Journey Through the Solar System,” has been published twice (2020, 2023) and presents broad scientific information about the planetary world in a child-friendly way, with subtle humor and many colored illustrations. The tales from the next book, “The Bird with One Wing and Other Stories” (2021), prepare young readers to overcome the challenges they will encounter during their lifetime. The stories in this book, “The Town of Truth and Other Stories” (2022), make their readers ponder life's values, preparing young people for independent living. The author has recently published (2024) the first book of his new cycle, "The Tales from Zoo."
