Victor Friedmann

Victor Friedmann began his career as an electrical engineer and later switched to geophysics. This new pursuit provided Victor and his family the opportunity to travel the world, first to England and then to Saudi Arabia where he worked for the oil giant, Saudi Aramco. Saudi Arabia was the jumping off point for travels to East Asia and Europe where Victor applied his photographic talents to produce several photo books. A talented cook and mathematician he wrote Cooking With Vic and The Loafer’s Guide to Successful Retirement and Slow Cooking. His interest in family history led to his latest book, A Promise Kept, the story of his family’s escape from Yugoslavia during World War Two.
