Vin Mayer

Vin Mayer, the Technology Consulting’s founder, has been passionate about practical and streamlined communication for his whole life. Vin was born to two psychologists parents who lived in Orlando. In 1979, Vin's parents moved to Miami for work, along with Vin's grandfather. Vin was born in 1981, shortly after the move. Since he was a young boy, he has been passionate about communication and the tools which can help us improve it. Following his graduation from university, where he studied electronic engineering, he started to successfully design software and applications. His parents and grandfather supported Vin's passion, but they weren't able to understand more advanced concepts that Vin was an expert in: this gave him the idea to create simple guides, at first for beginners, and eventually more advanced ones, to distill complicated concepts. These guides aim to help those looking to learn more about technology and digital information, as in his family's case, to simplify their lives. Vin fulfilled his vision. Vin's parents managed to simplify customer management and now enjoy more free time. In our increasingly social and digitized world, Vin's grandfather can now keep in touch with his loved ones and buy needed items online from the comfort of his home, thanks to Vin's guides. Vin lives in Chicago with his wife and a beautiful five-year-old daughter and continues to create practical applications for the community. With the Technology Consulting, he enjoys working with young, talented computer engineers to publish accessible software and program guides for a broad audience.
