Virgil Cain is an American author of historical fiction, known for his captivating works, such as The Ghost of Rome saga, and The Four Corners of Death series. With a passion for history and the southwest, Virgil's writing style is epic and engaging. Virgil is a man of many interests. When he's not busy writing, he enjoys immersing himself in the works of writers such as Larry McMurtry and Shelby Foote. He also loves watching movies based on historical events and westerns, particularly those by Sergio Leone. Music is another passion of his, with Guy Clark, John Prine, and Kris Kristofferson being among his favorite artists. And when it comes to sports, Virgil is a loyal fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Ohio State Buckeyes, and the Chicago Cubs. Originally from Ohio, he now calls Southern Arizona home, where he lives with his family.
