W. Craig Gilliam

关于作者

Living is our call. To this grand adventure our mere being says that we are invited . . . Dr. W. Craig Gilliam makes his home in Shreveport, Louisiana. Craig has a deep love of poetry and the poetic life. He has written poetry since the early ’90s. His debut book of poetry was entitled, Where Wild Things Grow. His second book of poetry, What Beckons You? invites us to pay attention to the subtle invitations of life, even amid uncertainty, ambiguity, and complexity. Professionally, he is the founder and owner of Gilliam and Associates, LLC, and works in the field of I/O psychology as an organizational consultant, leadership coach, group facilitator, and trainer/educator. He works with businesses, community and religious organizations/congregations. He believes that positive creativity is essential for us to be fully human, alive, and at our best in our personal and professional lives. Along with poetry, Craig’s passions are his family (wife and two grown sons) and Karate. As another expression of his art and artistry, he is a 5th-degree black belt, Godan, in traditional Japanese Karate (Shotokan). The poetic life is not just writing. It is a way of seeing, being, and living life with ourselves, one another, our communities, organizations, and all the earth.
