Wajid Shaikh (Born 20 August 1996) is an Indian-based writer, poet, essayist, and songwriter. He primarily writes in Urdu, and his works and poems have been translated into English to reach a wider audience and convey life philosophies. His notable works include "Hoti Rahegi Mulakaatein", "Khamoshi Se Matlab Nahi", "Himmat Kar Sabr Kar", and many others, which are considered highly influential masterpieces. Wajid Shaikh's literary works explore the human condition in troubled political, social, and spiritual atmospheres, engaging with various philosophical and religious themes. His most acclaimed work is "Sukoon", which presents human psychological demands in reverse order, earning him the title of "Poet of Love, Philosophy, and Darkness" by Literature Media.
