Walter Feshold Rodríguez

El autor del Cemí Mágico nació en San Juan Puerto Rico y se crió en el pueblo de Trujillo Alto. Estudió doce años en el Colegio San Antonio de Río Piedras y luego completó un bachillerato en Ciencias Políticas en la UPR de Río Piedras. Años más tarde regresó a la UPR y completó un segundo bachillerato en Educación. Desde el 2004 ha trabajado como maestro de historia, y en el 2015 se mudó, junto a su esposa y dos de sus hijas, al estado de Indiana en donde labora como maestro de español. Su idea del Cemí Mágico surgió por la preocupación de ver a tantas familias puertorriqueñas mudarse de la isla y el efecto negativo que eso pueda tener en la herencia cultural del puertorriqueño. The author of the Cemí Mágico was born in San Juan Puerto Rico and grew up in the town of Trujillo Alto. He studied for twelve years at the Colegio San Antonio de Río Piedras and then completed a bachelor's degree in Political Science at the UPR of Río Piedras. Years later, he returned to the UPR and completed a second bachelor's degree in Education. Since 2004 he has worked as a history teacher, and in 2015 he moved, along with his wife and two of his daughters, to Indiana, where he works as a Spanish teacher. His idea for the Cemí Mágico arose out of concern about seeing so many Puerto Rican families move from the island and the negative effect that this could have on the cultural heritage of Puerto Ricans.
