Walter R. Strickland II

Dr. Walter R. Strickland II is an educator who hails from a line of school teachers. He is the founder of Aptree (an e-learning experience) and serves as Assistant Professor of Systematic and Contextual Theology at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. In addition to being a teaching pastor at his church, he is an Associate Fellow at the Kirby Laing Centre for Public Theology at Cambridge University and holds a PhD in theology from the University of Aberdeen. His desire is to equip people to live with biblical wisdom, understand the African American theological tradition, and conduct education and business with cultural intelligence.
