Born in Warrington, England, Warren Clarke has an MPhil in Philosophy for a thesis entitled 'Abortion and Morality' in which he used the abortion debate to develop an original moral theory based on integrity and from an atheistic point of view. In the early 1980s he wrote his first two novels, 'Reconciliation' and 'Clowns', and has since completed twenty-seven other novels, three novellas and three long stories for children. They are very diverse, ranging from 'A Klondike Reunion', an adventure story set in the time of the Klondike Gold Rush, to postmodern works such as 'Two For The Price Of One' and 'From One Story To Another'; and from purely comic novels such as 'Puzzling Murders' and 'Perverse Anarchy', to 'Without An Angel', for lovers of Frank Capra's film 'It's A Wonderful Life'. His latest novel is 'Staged Moment in a Life' in which a young man thwarts a robbery at the building society where he works and then writes a play about it - with unforeseen consequences. His latest work for children is 'Stories For Young Children', a collection of 21 short stories. All his works are available on kindle, and, since he has to do something to pass the time, another will follow once it is finished.
