Wayne Martindale is a professor of English at Wheaton College, Illinois, where he regularly teaches courses on C. S. Lewis. He authored the recently published "Beyond the Shadowlands: C. S. Lewis on Heaven and Hell," co-edited with Jerry Root "The Quotable Lewis," edited "Journey to the Celestial City: Glimpses of Heaven from Great Literary Classics," and has authored numerous chapters and articles on Lewis. He and his wife Nita have taken students to many Lewis sites in England and Ireland. They have also lived and taught in China.
