Wendy Lyons Sunshine is author of TENDER PAWS: How Science-Based Parenting Can Transform Our Relationship with Dogs, a uniquely cross-disciplinary and practical book that was awarded a 2024 Maxwell Medallion from the Dog Writers Association of America. TENDER PAWS grew out of work Wendy did on two parenting books: the bestseller THE CONNECTED CHILD, named Outstanding Book of the Year by the American Society of Journalists and Authors, and 5-star resource, RAISING THE CHALLENGING CHILD.
