Wendy Schicktanz

Wendy Schicktanz is a fresh face in the world of children’s literature. After a twenty-year career as an award-winning Master Photographer, Wendy decided to fulfill her lifelong dream of writing a children’s book. As a devoted mother to two grown sons and a proud grandma to two "little pumpkins", she draws inspiration for her work from her family. Wendy loves to hike, ski, read, travel, and adventure with her loved ones in the great outdoors. She and her husband enjoy splitting their time between Arizona and Colorado. "Ivy Blue's Greatest Pumpkin Playhouse" is her debut children's book.
