Will Livingston grew up loving two things above all else: cats and silly jokes. For most of his childhood, he was known as the class clown, always cracking jokes and making his friends laugh. It wasn't until he was in college—struggling to keep his grades up in veterinary classes—that he discovered his talent for stand-up comedy. It took some doing, but he finally convinced himself (and, eventually, his parents) that he got it backwards when he tried to choose cats as a vocation and jokes as an avocation. So Will took a leap, left school, pulled up stakes, and moved to New York City to pursue his dream of becoming a professional comedian. He started performing at local clubs and quickly gained a following with his unique style of humor that combined witty one-liners with absurd observations about everyday life. Then, when Will published his first joke book, "No Pun Intended", it became an overnight success that sent him hurtling from "up-and-coming comic" to "household name." But though his career trajectory continues to move upwards—particularly with the recent release of his follow-up book, "No Pun Intended: Volume Too", Will has never let this unexpected life course take him far from that other great love of his. More often than not, he can be found at home enjoying the company of his four rescue cats—Luna, Whimsy, Horace, and Baba Yaga—as he scribbles down every silly little joke that pops into his silly little head.
