William Hart

William Hart was a "Midwesterner" living in Los Angeles. After earning a doctorate in English from the University of Southern California, he taught college writing courses in LA and wrote both poetry and fiction. His work has appeared in several hundred literary journals, commercial magazines, newspapers, and anthologies, and includes fourteen books. He also wrote and produced documentaries with filmmaker Jayasri Majumdar Hart, two of which aired nationally on PBS, the latest receiving Emmy nominations. All of William Hart's work continues to be distributed by Jayasri.
