William D. Holland

Over the years he has owned and operated three businesses and held twenty different jobs in a variety of fields. When not writing he can be found hiking the trails in the Pacific Northwest as well as fly fishing, snowshoeing and spending time with family and friends. Born and raised in Tacoma, Washington, William D. Holland now lives in Olympia where he has resided for the past twenty-two years. A graduate of Seattle University and the University of Puget Sound, Mr. Holland has degrees in Marketing, Economics and Education. A dedicated classroom teacher for eighteen years, Mr. Holland has taught a variety of subjects over the years including creative writing, history, geography and various business subjects. After completing his teaching career he moved into the world of freelance writing which allows him the freedom to follow his passion for writing not only for customers but also as he advances in his own writing and self-publishing. His first novel, "The 12/59 Shuttle From Yesterday To Today," was completed in October, 2011. Since then he has written "Resurrecting Tobias," "Shadows Kill," "Shadows Over Innocence," and five novellas under the "Billy the Kid Chronicles" title. He is currently working on the third in the Shadows series, "Shadows Over a Hangman's Noose."
