William Panek Bio (MCP®, MCP+I®, MCSA®, MCSA® W/SECURITY & MESSAGING, MCSE - NT (3.51 & 4.0)®, MCSE - NT 4.0/2000/2003/ 2008/2008 R2, 2012/2012 R2, and 2016, MCSE W/SECURITY & MESSAGING, MCDBA®, MCT®, MCTS®, MCITP®, CCNA®, CHFI®). Microsoft MVP Winner (5 times) After many successful years as an IT Director and consultant along with a degree in computer science, William Panek decided that he could better use his talents and his experience as an instructor. He started contract teaching for colleges and universities along with Fortune 500 and government organizations. William has done consulting and training for Boston University, University of Maryland, and the United States Secret Service just to name a few. In 2015, William Panek became the Senior Consultant and Senior Trainer for Stormwind Studios (www.stormwindstudios.com). William brings over 30 years of real-world expertise to his books and he continues to ensure that each and every reader has an understanding of the course material. Will has written over 50 books on computer technologies and security. William Panek lives in NH with his wife and two daughters. In his spare time, he is a commercially rated helicopter pilot and avid golfer. William also loves to play hockey and work in his shop as a blacksmith.
