William Russo

Dr. William Russo is a reclusive writer who does not publicize his books, but instead writes for a limited audience of people who enjoy his work. For the most part, readers find his work through accident or discovery. Russo believes in fate and controlling force. If you were meant to read these books, you will. He writes mostly nonfiction, history, Hollywood biography, and mythological/mythographic stories that fall under the trendy topic of alternative history, which displeases both fiction and nonfiction scholars and defies traditional categories. Lately Dr. Russo has opened up about the trials and tribulations of living in a haunted house, and he respects his ethereal residents to the point that he prefers to be a recluse and refuse visitors who want to have a tour of his home on Halloween. Russo also ghostwrites, but that has nothing to do with the spirits in his neighborhood, which may be one of the most haunted streets in New England. After extensive research, he has uncovered the possible identities of various spirits. This has ruined his reputation in serious circles of literature, history, and has even made some people consider him odd. There are books written under other names that are not listed in the collection of Russo's book titles. Russo has collaborated with Emmy-winning writer Jan Merlin of Hollywood fame. Their joint works number six, and each has a large number of individual books. Both live now in relative retirement and solitude.
