Yana Nashua, descendant of the ancient KASKINAMPO Indian tribe of Arkansas, was born in the Keokuks Indian Reservation (Iowa) in 1982. Since she was very young she understood how precious was the knowledge of her ancestors and she became interested in the study and research of medicinal plants, but especially in their use by her Ancestors. After having successfully attended several courses in Naturopathy and Dietetics at the University of Iowa, in 2006 she opened her herbalist shop in Sioux City, specializing in the treatment and prevention of various problems such as back pain, migraine, constipation, anxiety and many others. Yana's idea is to limit the intake of industrial drugs and medications through the use of healing plants and herbs to treat many diseases just as the ancient peoples of North America did. In her spare time, in addition to reading books about the traditions and culture of Native American peoples, she enjoys walking in nature and looking for medicinal plants to add to her cultivation.
