Yisel Gotham

I am a Cuban-born, Florida-raised mom, wife, and business owner with a passion for creating. My creative inspiration stems from my own “baby peanut,” my son, Carter. Born prematurely at 25 weeks and weighing just a pound and a half, Carter spent four and a half challenging months in the NICU. During this time, reading books was my primary way of bonding with my son. This experience deepened my love for books and storytelling, but mostly it showed me that taking time to read a book with your child encourages being present with one another and cherishing the quiet and slower moments we share in a very busy world. With a newfound passion for children’s books, I began writing stories for Carter, capturing the adventures I wanted to share with him. This personal endeavor pours over into my children's books, where I combine my love for storytelling with a mission to connect families and their little ones. Through my books, I aim to provide connection, engagement, and a touch of whimsy to every family’s journey.
