He is the author of a pair of bestselling zombie series, Empty Bodies and Dead South, as well as the bestselling post-apocalyptic horror trilogy, Final Awakening. In addition to reading any good book he can get his hands on, Zach is an avid gamer, loves listening to metal, and enjoys watching and playing hockey. He spent his 20s playing drums in metal bands, and he had a beard way before it was cool. He lives in Tennessee.
