We love sports (romances)!
Spring has sprung, and with it, all the sports. Well, a lot of the sports. Whether you’re an avid baseball fan, can’t wait for the next golf tournament, or are completely indifferent, sports romances always bring the heat (the fun kind). Below are just a few of our favorites.

Golf
The first in Tessa Bailey’s new sports romance series, Fangirl Down follows Wells Whitaker, a professional golfer who’s lost his game. But no matter how poorly he plays or how rude he is, a beautiful redhead is always on the sidelines cheering him on. Until he quits on himself, forcing her to quit on him, too. Josephine Doyle isn’t just a Wells Whitaker fan; she runs her family’s struggling golf shop and is an expert on the game. When Wells shows up at her door with a proposal to be his caddy for an upcoming tournament, she can’t refuse. Their chemistry is undeniable, and they both discover there’s more to the other person than meets the eye. Wells is an incredibly thoughtful (and hot) grump, and Josephine is a confident badass who believes in the best in people. This book is so fun and so, so sexy. —Abby Abell, Amazon Editor
Baseball
I’m a baseball fan and love any story with the diamond at its center (A League of Their Own, Bull Durham, Money Ball). You Should Be So Lucky is now officially on that list. It’s 1960, and handsome professional baseball player Eddie O’Leary is in the worst slump of his career on a new team that hates him. Mark Bailey is not a sports reporter but has been assigned to report on Eddie for his struggling newspaper. This grumpy-sunshine romance caught me by surprise with its tenderness as Mark and Eddie slowly lower their defenses and take a huge risk in falling for each other. And at the heart of it all is this game that makes us crazy but we just can’t quit (much like love). A home run of a romance! —Abby Abell, Amazon Editor
Hockey
In this steamy new adult sports romance, Diana Dixon has a lot of rules for her very hot but very egotistical hockey player neighbor, Shane. The most important one: leave her alone. But that all goes out the window when he tells his ex-girlfriend that he’s dating Diana. What starts as a fake relationship quickly evolves into something undeniably real and impossible to resist. Oh, and there’s some hockey in there too. —Abby Abell, Amazon Editor
Football
I couldn’t help but fall in love with Nora—her aggressively perky personality and determination to show up every day as her authentic self made her a truly inspiring character. Nora is a sports agent working to move up in a male-dominated industry. Derek is an NFL player who’s in need of a new agent. As fate would have it, Nora is assigned as Derek’s agent, which is the opportunity she’s been waiting for…with just one catch—the two were college sweethearts, and the breakup did not go well. Derek reluctantly allows Nora to be his agent, but there are rules, so many rules, the two must follow. What starts out as a ploy to make her life miserable ends up becoming a sweet and heartwarming second-chance romance. Fans of Amazon Editors’ Pick The Bromance Book Club will love this story. —Kami Tei, Amazon Editor
Soccer
We had to include this queer soccer romance on the list since it was just announced that soccer stars Megan Rapinoe and Sue Bird are developing it into a scripted series! I was simply charmed by this grumpy-sunshine romance featuring Grace, the established veteran player and team captain, and Phoebe, the rookie on the team. The two couldn’t be more different; Grace is measured and cautious, where Phoebe is loud and confident. But as they say, opposites attract; what starts out as general interest and curiosity about each other morphs into all types of feels. With the pressures of individual and team competition looming over them, the duo works to determine if they can rise above it all. —Kami Tei, Amazon Editor
