Worth the wait. Cant wait for book 3
I have been obsessing over all books Nora Roberts for the last few years. I eagerly was awaiting this second book of the trilogy (worth the wait) and it did not disappoint. Kept me hooked, the writing always make me feel as I can see the characters and live the experiences being wrote about. My only sadness is waiting for book three- as I am inpatient- one of my top reads from this author

    This is my first Nora Roberts trilogy. I finished the inheritance yesterday and immediately bought the mirror. I'm greatly enjoying her writing style and the storyline. The characters are very rich and layered and the setting is fantastic. Definitely recommend.

    This text describes a captivating story that spans multiple generations, filled with a range of emotions - love, joy, sadness, and mourning. The reader seems to have thoroughly enjoyed the trilogy, finding it to be an ongoing saga that delves into the lives of various characters, including a vicious and greedy woman who takes what she wants, whenever she wants it. The reader expresses their appreciation for the author's work, stating that they have read 90% of the author's books and were pleasantly surprised that the latest installment was able to surpass some of their previous favorites. The reader is now eagerly awaiting the next installment in the series.

    I normally love Nora Roberts. Her characters are well-developed/her scenes are beautifully described/and her story lines are great. I read book 1 a while ago, so it was hard trying to remember who was who; and there was a lot of redundancy. The story line is interesting, but frustrating since the main characters are figuring things out -- which is why there is a book 3, which I hope will be entertaining and tie everything together. I certainly hope there is not a book 4, meaning book 3 will be another cliff hanger, forcing you to buy yet another book in this series. Nora is a great author, and her stories are great, but this series is dragging along which is why I gave it a 4 star instead of a 5 star rating.

    I have enjoyed these first two books and cannot wait for the last one. This story is captivating, exciting and scary all at the same time. I love the characters including the invisible ones. Clover's music adds a nice depth to the journey. I cannot say enough good things about.

    I especially love her trilogy. They're both riveting and difficult to put down. I'll be waiting impatiently for the 3rd and last book. I always love her characters. They're always normal, strong, and smart. With her description of the scenes, you get the feeling that you're there, and my mind can always see the gripping scenes.

    The first book in this series hooked me and the second one is great too! I can’t wait for the next book to be released! It has mystery, suspense and romance. I didn’t want to put it down and read it very quickly.

    More so the author. Consistent as in always a good read, never want to put it down, hard to wait for the next book to be released. This trilogy is already a favorite. Who doesn't love a haunted manor and a centuries old witch? The characters are likeable, the storyline is poignant, and I'm afraid to walk a few feet from my bed to the bathroom now in the dark (insert my shoulder shrug here), so what else is there to say? Ah, how about a request for an earlier release of the last book? Please.

    Nora Roberts has written some of my all time favorite books, several of them trilogies. But whoever decided to space the releases each a year apart in my opinion miscalculated. The wait was tedious and I had to read The Inheritance again to reacquaint myself with the characters before I could dive into The Mirror. Since the story involves the deaths of 7 brides, each with their own back story and cast of characters, I think she should have provided readers with a family tree just to keep it all straight. That’s not including all the current day people we are introduced to as the main character Sonya goes about her day. It can get confusing. There are so many pets it becomes a distraction and one of the brides constant habit of playing songs to communicate got old after awhile. Nora must be a foodie too because a lot of her books go into great detail about the meals her characters make, plan, buy each day. It’s repetitive filler that’s unnecessary and doesn’t advance the story. This book drags with spurts here and there of something interesting enough to keep you going but overall if you’re going to make me wait a year to resolve a cliffhanger, it better be worth it. The ending of The Mirror is very weak and feels stunted… without enough reason to make me willing to wait another year for a resolution to what could have been a really exciting story presented in a single book. Could only muster up 3 stars for this one.

    My favorite author has done it again. I read the last page expecting a glimpse into the third book and realized quickly that Nora Robert's is a genius! The story, the characters pulled me in, I purchased both books two days ago and read them both. Now I will re read them again until the third comes out.

    Fantastic book! I find it fascinating how quickly you get sucked into her stories. I have read all of her books, every single one, and she does it over and over again. Mrs. Roberts's books are automatic buys for me. No questions asked. Especially when I know it's a new trilogy. Knowing that I have to wait a year for the last one to come out is torture but also something to look forward to. I genuinely like this story; it's suspenseful, intriguing, cute, and romantic with great characters, good banter, excellent family dynamics, and all with a bit of spooky on the side.

    Absolutely loved this story. So well written you can almost see the described people, locations and happenings.
