I was looking forward to my first book from this best selling author and I was intrigued by the premise of a clairvoyant aboard a plane giving death dates with circumstances and age at time of death to each passenger and crew member. With an exciting plot like that what could possibly go wrong? A lot. I did not feel connected to more than one or two characters in the book because this author did not flesh them out- they are interchangeable cardboard cut- outs. Cherry the psychic, has her life interspersed throughly the book. She’s weird and odd but not interesting. I had to skim the last hundred or so pages and it shows we can change our fate to some degree. I enjoy large books but literature that holds my interest- this was a snooze fest. I read a few pages a day. I dislike giving a bad review- I much prefer giving accolades because writing a novel is hard work. I upped my rating to a three because in two separate instance's I cared about two death predictions. One came true and one fought fate.
