Freida McFadden is one of my favorite writers I’ve read most of her books in this genre and will continue to do so. I loved all 3 books which are full of doubts, secrets, twists and turns. I loved it all! Magnificent writing. What an ending to a perfect series….although I hope to read more about Millie, Enzo and their kids! I loved the short story before book 3 that was so well written about how these two were so in love and got married. I don’t like spoilers as it’s happened to me here before. I will leave with just take my advice and all the other readers who follow Frieda McFadden. She does not disappoint!

I love this series, I was waiting so patiently for this to drop and it didn’t disappoint, I was surprise tho I never imagined the housemaid could get marry and have kids, you know she’s the housemaid (that sounded weird, I meant it as she is this bad ass woman who takes care of other women’s problems) but it was cute to see this new phase of her, everything was so suspicious too I really thought it was her husband cause who else could it be unless it was her boy, I knew something was weird when he started acting up, a kid just doesn’t change from one behavior to a bad one at least not one who is sweet, and not without a reason, I thought the worst I supposed, it was a real surprise when it was discovered it was her girl, like what? You did it? You are just like your momma for real tho she didn’t actually kill him I do believe she has the guts to do in the future and she could be potential to continue this series if the author hasn’t decided to be done with it cause it will be such a shame, this is one of the series who got me into thriller and this author has become one of my favorite but she also has a lot of other good books such as never lie and the inmate, but you can’t skip the housemaid, it’s just chefs kiss!

This one was WILD. I have loved this series from the start so I knew I would enjoy this one as well. There were a couple things I liked as well as a couple things I didn’t with this addition to the series though.
Likes~
I LOVED that it keeps the same template as the other books, it has multiple parts as well as multiple povs throughout the book which is super cool for a mystery series.
I feel like this one was better than the second and reminded me a lot more of the first one. I loved the little appearances from old favorite characters and getting to see the power of friendship grow between them!
Dislikes~
I was not a fan of Millie not trusting Enzo especially after everything they’ve been through throughout the series. It just felt wrong of her to continually accuse him of cheating and then jump to him being the killer. It honestly makes it seem like she can’t trust him which makes zero sense after everything.
I also feel like this is written in a way that feels childish while also having a pretty intense plot line. The chapters are short and Millie thinks a lot like a teenager would. I feel like the author could’ve changed a few things to prevent this but overall I do love this author and I do enjoy and recommend this series.
