Unique plot • Enemies to loversThis is hands down one of my TOP FIVE reads of 2024. The way Callie wrote this book was so creative and I could not put it down. Not only was this fantasy so unique to others I’ve read - the characters were EVERYTHING. Saeris is fiesty, witty and everything I could have hoped for in a FMC and then you add the moody kingfisher into the mix and I was kicking my feet giggling every time he was on the page. This book was just so so good and marked every fantasy check mark in my book. I CANNOT wait for book two.2
