Alexandre Oliveira

Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Alexandre Oliveira grew up surrounded by its breathtaking nature. In 2000, he took up surfing and skateboarding, later learning mountainboarding and competing as an amateur. In 2014, he moved to Europe, where he mastered snowboarding and taught it in the Swiss Alps. Becoming a dad in 2016, his children's curiosity about his board-sport adventures inspired him to write and illustrate children's books, aiming to share not only the excitement and freedom of riding a board but also the values of community, respect for nature, and the many life skills these sports had taught him.
