Caroline Hennessy

Journalist, broadcaster and writer Caroline Hennessy is the Chair of the Irish Food Writers' Guild, a McKennas’ Guide Editor and a Ballymaloe Cookery School graduate. The co-author of Sláinte: The Complete Guide to Irish Craft Beer and Cider (New Island), she holds an M.Phil. in Irish History from University College Cork and is an experienced freelance journalist, focusing on food, drink and travel since 2005. Caroline has won several awards at Bibliocook.com, has contributed to and developed recipes for a variety of publications (Irish Examiner, The Echo, Journal.ie, Irish Country Living) and is also an experienced public speaker, chairing and speaking at food and drink-focused debates and events.
