Kevin Revolinski is an award-winning fiction writer and freelance writer/photographer writing mainly about travel, beer, food, and the outdoors. His short-story collection, STEALING AWAY won a 2021 PenCraft Book Award. He is the author of 15 other books, and his work has appeared in The New York Times, Chicago Tribune, and Sydney Morning Herald. His year teaching abroad in Turkey became the subject of his first book, The Yogurt Man Cometh, a travel memoir. He has traveled to more than 75 countries and lived in five. He did his first guidebook work for Rough Guides and has since written several Wisconsin and Midwest travel, beer, and outdoor guides. As the author of Wisconsin's Best Beer Guide, he was invited on The Today Show to sample beers with Al Roker at Lambeau Field. He maintains a website, The Mad Traveler (TheMadTraveler.com), and is an avid reader, camper, hiker, paddler, and beer drinker. He has lived abroad in several places including Italy, Guatemala, Turkey, Panama, and Thailand, but currently calls Madison, Wisconsin his home base.
