Hi! I’m Lilly Patterson and I am a travel writer who loves to explore new places and culture. I have visited more than 30 countries and written about my experiences for various publications, including National Geographic and Travel + Leisure. I also believe that travel is not only a way to see the world, but also a way to learn, grow, and connect with others. My passion for travel started when I was a child, reading books and magazines that transported me to different lands. I took my first solo trip at the age of 18, backpacking across Europe for six months. Since then, I have never stopped wandering and writing. I enjoy sharing my stories and tips with my readers, hoping to inspire them to embark on their own adventures. My books are more than just guidebooks. They are personal narratives that capture the essence and spirit of each destination. I write with honesty, humor, and insight, revealing the beauty, diversity, and complexity of the world. Whether I’m hiking in the Himalayas, snorkeling in the Maldives, or dancing in Rio, I always find something new and exciting to write about. I live in Seattle with my husband and three kids. When I am not traveling or writing, I like to read, cook, and watch movies.
