Loan Nguyen is a pharmacist, an artist, a super mom, and a writer. She was born in Vietnam and immigrated to the United States when she was a little girl. Her large loving family ended up in Texas and this has been her home for over 30 years. The scenic beauty of rice patties of her motherland and the importance of rice as a food staple inspired her to write a story about the power of self-determination to live a fulfilling life.
