Matt Jacobs

Born and raised on the Wirral in the UK, I began my career as a Royal Naval Officer, serving with pride and gaining experiences that shaped my character and world view. My second career took me into the corporate world, where I managed major projects in the UK and overseas, climbing the ladder as the years flew by. Now, almost 30 years later, it was time for a change. I’ve always had a love for travel, and my life has been enriched by the diverse cultures and experiences I’ve encountered along the way. Married to my wonderful wife Beks and a proud father to two incredible children, Cape and Pearl, I’ve found that parenting has been my most enjoyable and creative experience so far. Bedtime in our house is never boring! Telling stories to my kids sparked a whole new kind of creativity, and I realised I wanted to share that magic with other families. Now, as I embark on my third career as an author and publisher, I write stories inspired by my travels, my experiences, my family and the boundless imagination of childhood. The single aim is to produce stories designed to make kids smile and bring parents and little ones closer together.
