Niraj Gupta

Niraj Gupta - an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi - was Managing Director (South Asia), AT&T. Before taking up urban sketching, he attended one year of classes at the National Gallery of Modern Art, Delhi, and started to sketch with the New York City Chapter of Urban Sketchers (NYC USk). He founded USk Delhi Chapter in 2017. Since then, he has held six group shows of USk Delhi, and three workshops with a focus on perspective, including one for the Fine Arts Club of IIT Delhi. The chapter is celebrating its 250th meet on 27th November 2022. He is the winner of the 2nd Prize in the Winsor & Newton Challenge, Urban Sketchers Symposium, July 2019, Amsterdam, Netherlands. He is a prolific writer on various subjects. In 1999, he wrote a management textbook 'Business of Telecommunication' published by Tata McGraw-Hill, which was a cover story by The Economic Times of India.
