I was born in 1956, in Kirkwall, on the Scottish Island of Orkney. I wrote my first autobiography at the age of 58, then another three books followed. Writing is a relaxing hobby which I enjoy, and I wish that I had found it when I was younger. Four happy children and ten grandchildren leave me little time to write now, but it is worth every minute. I have written and published my final book called, Finding Jake, The dementia jigsaw. I have been diagnosed with Frontotemporal Dementia. I still live my life and take every day as it comes, thankful for every day I have left.
