Peter Bussian

Peter Bussian is a photographer, filmmaker and media consultant who works primarily for humanitarian and international development organizations. His photographs have been published in The New York Times, LA Times, Conde Nast Traveller and Paris Match among others. He is the author and photographer of two books: "Passage to Afghanistan and "Trans New York" and has had solo exhibitions at several galleries and at The Council for International Relations in New York. In addition, he has worked as a producer, writer, director and actor on documentary and narrative films. He received his BA in philosophy from the University of Colorado and studied film at Columbia University and the Anthropology Film Center in Santa Fe. He has lectured at Columbia University, NYU and The New School.
