Ian O’Connor is the author of his sixth book, "Out of the Darkness: The Mystery of Aaron Rodgers," described as "a masterwork" by legendary NFL writer Peter King. O'Connor is a nationally acclaimed columnist whose five previous books include his fourth consecutive New York Times bestseller "Coach K: The Rise and Reign of Mike Krzyzewski." O'Connor's previous bestsellers are "Belichick: The Making of the Greatest Football Coach of All Time;" “The Captain: The Journey of Derek Jeter,” which the Library Journal called “excellent” and the “most complete account” of Jeter’s iconic career with the New York Yankees, and "Arnie & Jack: Palmer, Nicklaus, and Golf's Greatest Rivalry." His defining biography of Rodgers, the enigmatic New York Jets quarterback and 4-time NFL MVP, will be published in August. O’Connor has earned 20 first-place finishes in national writing contests, including those conducted by the Associated Press Sports Editors, the Golf Writers Association of America, the Pro Football Writers of America, and the Society of Professional Journalists.
