David Milne is Professor of Modern History at the University of East Anglia. He previously taught at the LSE, Cambridge, and the University of Nottingham. His first book, America's Rasputin: Walt Rostow and the Vietnam War was published by Hill and Wang in 2008. His second, Worldmaking: The Art and Science of American Diplomacy was published by FSG in 2015. Milne is currently working on a biography of the Chicago Tribune journalist Sigrid Schultz.
