Lorene Edwards Forkner is a gardener and an author and speaker whose work centers on exploring the wonders of the natural world. She loves a good story and delicious seasonal flavors. Lorene writes a weekly gardening column for the Seattle Times, is the author of seven gardening titles including The Beginner’s Guide to Growing Great Vegetables. Lorene lives in Seattle, Washington, where she avidly tends her beloved garden throughout the year. When she’s not writing, or digging and planting, watering and weeding, she’s recording the colors she finds in nature, which she posts daily on Instagram @gardenercook.
