Lily Whiteman

Yale graduate Lily Whiteman knows the federal hiring process from the inside out. As a federal career coach and hiring manager, she is an expert in navigating the federal hiring system and crafting successful applications. She has trained hundreds of professionals how to land federal jobs and promotions. And Whiteman practices what she preaches. Since 1991, she has used the techniques in this book to advance in four agencies, including the Vice President's National Partnership for Reinventing Government. Lily Whiteman has participated in government job selections from every conceivable angle. In addition, Lily has published more than 20 articles on communications and other topics in flight magazines, law journals and other national publications. Lily earned a Masters in Public Health and a Masters in Environmental Management from Yale University and completed graduate work in professional writing at Carnegie Mellon University. She holds a B.A. from Wesleyan University.
