Jason Killian Meath is a political media strategist, filmmaker and author. In 2012, he had the privilege of co-authoring a children's book with his son Aidan called The Pepperoni Palm Tree (Fuze 2012). Aidan thought of the concept and characters and Jason was along for the ride! For his book Hollywood on the Potomac (Arcadia 2009), he interviewed some of Washington and Hollywood's biggest insiders, and consulted with the National Archives and authorities at America's Presidential Libraries to write Hollywood on the Potomac - a rare glimpse into the relationships between our leaders and entertainers. Jason is also a successful filmmaker, as director and co-writer of The Surge: The Untold Story (Military Channel) and co-creator of the Discovery Channel documentary series The Feds. Programs Jason has written, directed and co- produced have appeared in prime time on networks such as The Discovery Channel, USA Network and ABC Family. As a Bush-Cheney communications veteran and member of the Maverick Media team, Jason produced much of the advertising for President George W. Bush's 2004 re-election. He is a frequent guest lecturer and writer on various topics related to media, entertainment and politics. Jason has received awards from Hollywood Independent Documentary Festival, Manhattan Film Festival, the New York Film Festival, the GI Film Festival, Cine and Austin's Heart of Film Festival Screenwriters Competition among many others.
