Solala Towler is an instructor of Daoist meditation and several styles of qigong. He has studied the Daoist arts for over twenty three years and leads tours to China to visit the sacred mountains and temples of Daoism. He is author of 12 books on Qigong and the Daoist arts, including Tales From the Tao, Chuang Tzu: The Inner Chapters, Cha Dao, the Tao Paths series, and A Gathering of Cranes: Bringing the Tao to the West. He is as a founding board member and former president of the National Qigong Association, and has been the editor of The Empty Vessel: The Journal of Daoist Philosophy and Practice for the last 18 years. He is also editor of the online journal Yang Sheng (Yang-Sheng.com). He teaches qigong and sound healing at conferences and workshops around the country. In addition, he has recorded four cd's of meditation/yoga/relaxation cds (Mountain Gate, Sacred Soundings, Windhorse: Spirit of Tibet and Boundless).
