Simon Kemp

Simon Kemp is an Associate Professor of French at Oxford University and a Fellow of Somerville College, where he teaches French language and literature.His recent work includes Writing the Mind: Representing Consciousness from Proust to the Present, French Fiction into the Twenty-First Century: The Return to the Story and Defective Inspectors: Crime Fiction Pastiche in Late-Twentieth-Century French Literature, and he is currently working on theories of consciousness and their use in literary studies.
