Lineberg is also a founding partner of Maple Creative, LLC, a full-service marketing and communications firm. He serves as Maple’s chief creative officer, managing and mentoring a staff of creative professionals.
An avid writer, Skip is the founder and primary contributor to Maple’s blog, “Marketing Genius from Maple Creative,” which was designated as one of the Top 100 Business Blogs on the Internet in 2007 and deemed by Advertising Age to be one of the most influential media and marketing blogs in the world in 2008. He is a frequent contributor to the ProfessionalStudio365 blog.
Lineberg began his professional career in 1988 with General Electric, where he completed GE’s management development program in technical sales & marketing. Lineberg is a cum laude, Honors Program graduate of West Virginia University’s College of Engineering (B.S. Industrial Engineering).
Skip is actively engaged in writing, speaking and teaching about marketing, management and mentoring. Skip has taught marketing workshops and courses at Marshall University Graduate College and the University of Charleston, where he served as Executive in Residence for the Jones Division of Business in 2004. In 2004, Skip was invited to attend world-renowned business author Tom Peters’ Re-Imagine Business Summit. Following the advice of his mentors, Skip is a passionate and active community servant.
