Cathy Ann Sauer, who writes under the name Cat Sauer for her children's series, Brown Bag Bedtime Books, lives in Orlando, Florida. She is a long-time hotel marketing professional and copywriter. The children's series started as a side interest but grew into its current format following a trip to the New York Book Expo.
Cat is an enthusiastic animal lover so personifying the characters came easily to her. "Each story started from something that took place in my yard. The rabbits, opossum, owl, raccoons all live here. Even the caterpillar, who is based on my uncle, has a home in my garden. That just goes to show where a little imagination can take you."
