Csaba Szepesvari

Csaba Szepesvari (University of Alberta, Canada) Csaba Szepesvari received his PhD in 1999 from "Jozsef Attila" University, Szeged, Hungary in mathematics. He is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Computing Science of the University of Alberta and a principal investigator of the Alberta Ingenuity Center for Machine Learning. Previously, he worked in various industry and academic positions on applications of machine learning. His long term dream is to help the creation of the first truly intelligent agents. These days he is trying to push this dream by working on the theory of machine learning and, in particular, by working on the theory of reinforcement learning.
