Margot Bigg is a Lowell Thomas Award-winning travel writer and editor specializing in experiential travel, India travel, wellness, and more. She grew up in the US and the UK and spent much of her early adulthood living in Paris, Delhi, and London. Now based in Portland, Oregon, Margot continues to travel extensively, both on assignment and to feed her soul through learning from and connecting with the people she meets. Her hobbies include learning languages, running, reading, and—of course—traveling. Margot’s work has appeared in publications around the world, including National Geographic Traveler, Travel + Leisure, Rolling Stone India, Lonely Planet, Afar, VegNews, Slate, Sunset, Robb Report, Roads & Kingdoms, VICE, The Times of India, and The Oregonian. Margot has lived and worked in the US, England and France and holds an MA from the University of Bath and Sciences Po Paris. When not busy writing, she spends her time reading, learning, and exploring.
