Gregory W. Rome

Gregory Rome, a native of Chalmette, Louisiana, graduated first in his class in 2006 from Loyola University New Orleans with a Bachelors degree in computer science. In 2009, he graduated from Tulane Law School with a Juris Doctor degree and a certificate in civil law. That same year, he was admitted to practice in Louisiana. At Tulane, Rome helped found the Civil Law Commentaries, the first legal journal dedicated to Louisiana law and its historical roots, and served on its inaugural editorial board. He also served as law clerk to the Honorable Kirk A. Vaughn in the 34th Judicial District, State of Louisiana. Rome is a member of Williams & Rome, LLC, a general practice law firm in Chalmette, Louisiana. His practice areas include family law, successions and estates, property law, business law, and civil litigation. The Louisiana Civil Law Dictionary is Rome's first book.
