J'aime Rubio is an investigative journalist, true crime writer and historian. She writes about mysteries of the past and digs deeper to uncover information that most writers and media fail to disclose to the public.
A native of California, J'aime comes from a long line of history lovers and writers who always encouraged her to follow her dreams and passions of becoming a writer. Being the granddaughter of a tenacious newspaper reporter, J'aime has followed in her grandfather's footsteps, becoming a history reporter for various newspapers and magazines as well as publishing her own historic investigations on her personal blog.
She is known for her four historical non-fiction books, "Behind The Walls: A Historical Exposé Of The Preston School Of Industry," "Stories of the Forgotten: Infamous, Famous & Unremembered," "If These Walls Could Talk: More Preston Castle History," and most recently, "More Stories of the Forgotten." Besides authoring books, she also maintains her blogs, to which she contributes her research on many stories of the past. She also has a podcast titled "Stories of the Forgotten" where you can listen to her share some of her favorite investigations. When she isn't writing, J'aime is usually roaming historic cemeteries or locations seeking out more interesting and sometimes tragic stories of the forgotten to share with her readers.
