Matthew Parfitt is Associate Professor in the Rhetoric Division at the College of General Studies, Boston University. He earned a Ph. D. in English Literature from Boston College in English Literature. Born in Epsom, England, he grew up in Montreal, Canada, and attended the University of Toronto. He now lives in Brookline, MA.
