Clark Neily is an attorney at the Institute for Justice in Arlington, VA. He is also director of IJ's Center for Judicial Engagement, which promotes robust enforcement of constitutional limits on government power. He served as co-counsel for the plaintiffs in District of Columbia v. Heller, the landmark case in which the Supreme Court held that the Second Amendment protects the individual right to own a gun. He enjoys reading, cooking, traveling, and especially suing bureaucrats. He and his wife Nicki are expecting their first child in November 2013.
